I have been bought with a price; I am not my own; I belong to God

– Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?

You are not  your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

Jesus loves you so much, more than you can ever fully grasp. He’s bought YOU with a price, a sacrifice so profound and selfless that it echoes through eternity. He’s paid the price for all your sin against him, wiping you clean and offering you redemption, He paid the price to defeat sin’s power over you, breaking every chain that once held you captive. You are free, liberated from the darkness of your past and empowered to walk in the light of his love. You have power over sin, an authority granted to you through faith and grace. Do not believe the lie that you can’t overcome sin; it’s not true and has no place in your life. Jesus died on the cross to prove otherwise because he is in you, living and active, giving you strength and hope to rise above any struggle you face. Embrace this truth and let it transform your heart and mind.

So you may be asking yourself, how is Jesus in me? When Christ ascended, he left us with the Holy Spirit, a precious gift that not only guides our steps but also teaches us all things necessary for our spiritual journey. This divine presence is a constant source of strength and wisdom, illuminating our path and helping us make decisions that align with God’s will. The second chapter of Acts tells us all about how the Holy Spirit now dwells in us, empowering believers to carry out the work of the kingdom on Earth. Jesus actually said, it “is to our advantage” that he goes back to heaven (John 16:7), emphasizing the essential role the Holy Spirit plays in our lives. There, he will be waiting patiently for the heavenly kingdom to be built and filled with His children, reminding us that our earthly struggles are temporary and that a magnificent future awaits. Meanwhile, he gives us His Spirit to guide us and teach us, ensuring that we are never alone and that we are always nurtured in our relationship with Him.
