– For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we become the righteousness of God.(2 Corinthians 5:21)

We can NOT do enough good works, either spiritually or morally, to earn our way to salvation or to attain God’s favor, which often leads many to feel a sense of despair or inadequacy in their spiritual journey. This is why we are told that Christ didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfill it in its entirety, demonstrating a perfect obedience that we could never achieve on our own. We needed Christ to perfectly keep the law on our behalf and then gift us His righteousness, a divine exchange that underscores His incredible love and mercy toward humanity, even in our shortcomings and failures. So now, in Christ, we are righteous—not by our own efforts, but through faith in Him, which assures us that we are accepted and loved in our deepest flaws.

There is therefore no condemnation for those IN Christ, as we are covered by His grace and shielded from the guilt of our sins. We have been declared righteous before God, not because of our actions but because of His sacrifice and our belief in Him, which provides us with a sense of peace and security that cannot be shaken. Ultimately, this realization brings forth a heart of gratitude and joy, leading us to live in a way that honors Him, inspired by the transformative power of His love in our lives. Praise the Lord for His unfathomable grace!!!
